Seattle amusements

Today is a day I want to remember. It's the first time I made my baby girl giggle. After a wonderful, but long day at the Seattle aquarium & lunch along the waterfront Addi was a bit fussy. I got her dressed for bed & settled on the couch to watch Ry play & hopefully calm Addison. As she & I were "talking" I started to give her raspberries on her tummy. Apparently she thought it was funny & for the first time showed true amusement in mommy. I got a few giggles out of her & lots of smiles.

It was priceless! She has a similar giggle to Ryder & her smile is adorable, especially when she opens her little mouth.

A few pictures from our trip so far .... Daddy arrives tomorrow night to join in the fun :-)

The big flight!

Our trip to Seattle set us off on the right foot. Ryder had fun running around the terminal with daddy while we waited for boarding. Thankfully Sam was able to escort us to the gate & help with a ore flight dinner which made the flight much easier for me. Addison slept most of the flight thankfully but the little man was too excited for that nonsense so I have him the iPad & he watched Cars 2 for most the flight. He also helped himself up onto a neighbors lap & played with her boys & colored with her for a little while. We also got to play with a seeing eye dog who stole our hearts easily. Love golden's!

Once we arrived we made our way to baggage claim to meet Grams who was pleasantly surprised when Ryder not only recognized her but went to hold her hand immediately. He helped push our suitcase for Grams & we somehow managed to squeeze all our stuff into the car.

The first night was rough after having to wake Ryder from a good sleep & being greeted by a very excited puppy at Grams' house. Both kids ended up in bed with me but after a long nap the next day we all felt MUCH better & Ryder finally gave Dallas a chance to play with him.
